Meet Abigail Shipley

Abigail Shipley is a member of Sigma Tau Delta and serves as the Eastern Region Student Representative. She attends Clarion University where she is a senior Secondary English Education major with a minor in Literature. Abigail also is a member of Kappa Delta Pi and her university’s English Club. She enjoys reading, camping, hiking, kayaking, and writing and one day hopes to travel the world while writing about her experiences.

  4. Growing up, I was sure I would be a teacher.

  6. The best gift I’ve ever received was a world map.
  7. My nickname in high school was Ship.
  8. If you find me in the kitchen, I’m typically whipping up Spaghetti.
  9. I’m more of a writer.
  10. The best paper title I ever created was “The Night Before.. You Waste Your Money” (it was a movie review for The Night Before).
  11. The literary place I’d most like to visit is Hobbiton.
