The WORDY by Nature Summer Book Club is starting discussion of our second book, Wild Girls by Urusla Le Guin, in the discussion forums. This interesting collection is even shorter than our last book, so there is still plenty of time to catch up. We will begin with discussion of the Nebula Award-winning short story “Wild Girls,” from which the collection gets its title. The book also contains poems, essays, and an interview, all of which will be discussed in the coming weeks.
Discussion of the 2012 Common Reader, Ex Libris: Confessions of a Common Reader, by Anne Fadiman, is still going on.
Discussion of our third and final book, The Worst Hard Time by Timothy Egan, begins July 9.
