  1. I chose to become an English Major because I have always enjoyed creating my own works of literature and sharing them with people around me.
  2. My favorite part of being an English Major is seeing how people interpret pieces of work in different ways. It allows me to gain a deeper understanding of what message is being conveyed.
  3. The last book I read was Her Majesty’s Royal Coven by Juno Dawson.
  4. My favorite book series is Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan. I always find myself reaching for these books when I’m in a reading slump.
  5. A book character I identify with is Annabeth Chase from Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson series or Tessa Grey from Cassandra Clare‘s The Infernal Devices series.
  6. The last book I bought was A Touch of Darkness by Scarlett St. Clair, but I have not yet read it.
  7. I do not have a favorite book to movie adaptation.
  8. I’m more of a reader than a writer.
  9. My favorite style of writing is Compare and Contrast.
  10. My go-to children’s book is the Harry Potter or Percy Jackson series.
  11. My favorite childhood memory is spending the holidays surrounded by all my family members.
  12. Growing up, I was sure I would be a published author.
  13. My first job was Outside Service Member (Golf Cart Kid) at a local golf course.
  14. My dream job is working with an organization that allows me to give back to others either through academics or athletics.
  15. I like to spend my free time reading, golfing, working out, watching scary movies, and baking.
  16. The destination at the top of my travel bucket list is Greece and Rome.
  17. The literary place I’d most like to visit is London.
  18. If I could move anywhere in the world, I’d live some place that’s warm year round!
  19. If I was stranded on a desert island, the three things I would bring with me are books, golf clubs, and a swimsuit.
  20. The one song I could listen to on repeat is Black Cadillac” (feat. B-Real) by Hollywood Undead.
  21. The best gift I ever received was my Chocolate Lab! Coco was a gift from my parents during Christmas 2005! She was my best friend for 12 beautiful years and forever has a special place in my heart!
  22. The best gift I’ve ever given is a signed golf ball to my mom. She couldn’t be with me at the state championship that year so I had her initials on the golf balls that year. She still has it on display in her jewelry box.
  23. If you find me in the kitchen, I’m typically whipping up Double Chocolate Chip Pound Cake.
  24. If I could try any food from a book or series, it would be The Grey Stuff from Beauty and the Beast.
  25. The author (dead or alive) I’d most like to spend a day with is Edgar Allen Poe.
